Juliette has fought to keep her family's oyster business, called La Claire, afloat. She is ready to fight even harder, now that her heritage is threatened. On her Breton island, Juliette has to face developers who want to occupy her production site at any price to build a thalassotherapy center. Despite their tempting offers, Juliette refuses to sell and inevitably attracts the enmity of the industrialists who only think in terms of profitability and easy money. The conflict becomes more and more radical, each side sticks to its position and the confrontation risks going beyond the legal framework.

Colombe and Jo have been friends since childhood, but their life has its difficulties. Due to finances, a death, and work-related problems, the two women are looking for a change. An unexpected opportunity arises when they find a dream home by the sea, but a lie surges up from the past to cause trouble in their lives.

Set in an Eastern Cape farming community, the story follows Yola who returns home from Chile for her father's funeral, only to be met by the ghosts of her past.

When the beaver's dam floods their father's hayfield, two boys devise a plan to save the beaver from their father's displeasure.

Merowe Dam in North Sudan. Maher works in a traditional brickyard fed by the waters of the Nile. Every evening, he secretly wanders off into the desert to erect a mysterious construction made of mud. Despite a disturbing wound in his lower back that seems to be eating away at his skin, he continues his labor day after day. While the Sudanese people rise to claim their freedom, his mud creation starts slowly to take a life of its own.
